Me…
I was born in Poland and came to USA at the age thirteen and settled with my family in California. I am a woman and a lady with an eclectic interest in things that I both love and hate, depending on the moment. I love adventure and try to live life as if it was one. I’m a passionate romantic, a silly goof with a dry sense of humor.
I’m a PR Guru. I love what I do. I love having a finger on the pulse of technology. I especially love working with start ups and growing companies. When I interview new clients I listen for the passion and pride the company’s representatives expresses about their work, their people, their new projects and products. If and when I feel they truly care about their assignments, I know this is the type of a venture I want to be involved in. I give my heart and soul to the company I work with. It is easier to evangelize when you are among the people who care about things as much as you do. My expertise is broad and there are two reasons for that. First, I’m always hungry for knowledge, curious about life, technology and the future. Too many PR people are myopic by staying in only one sector of technology without giving due to how one product can affect different markets. Second, the press understand that. That’s why today they will cover gaming, tomorrow science. Also, as economy begins to affect event the press business, these reporters too have to diversify what they cover. By following various technologies, I follow their careers and in turn help them and my clients to get the right story at the right time and place.
I love seeing people succeed, and I enjoy having a hand in making good things happen making other’s dreams come true. This is why I got into event production and show coordination on weekends. I have a hand in bringing to life include Calaveras Celtic Faire, Golden Gate, Valhalla, Shasta and Folsom Renaissance Faires and the Celtic Faire in Sonora and International Jousting Championships.
To further the Polish presence on the faire circuit, I formed the a Polish guild in CA. The Guild is comprised of talented and dedicated individuals who like me, who share the love of history and are intrigued by the Polish culture of the mid 16c. I play the role Anna Jagiellonka, a Polish princess on travels though Europe.
I have a passion for history and horses. I used to compete in endurance racing and I even made the Barcelona Team in 92. But that was then. Currently, I am a proud owner for a black Percheron gelding named Knight. Knight is an ex jousting horse who lost the passion for lance carrying, armor bearing jousters who bounced their “sticks” on his head. I started Knight under saddle before he entered the jousting world and I fell in love with him from the start. When I heard of his immanent retirement, I jumped at the chance to own him. Now when ever possible, I entertain faire goers by riding my black steed in beautiful gowns while competing against knights in pas de arms events at faires.
I love seeing people succeed, and I enjoy having a hand in making good things happen making other’s dreams come true. That’s my greatest virtue and vice. So be careful what you asked for… you just might get it…
